Dr. Rachel Noll
Education is a part of my DNA. My mom trained to be an elementary teacher in college and my dad was a teacher for a year at Newport Central Catholic High School when it was still an all-boys school. I knew I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was a junior in high school and that I wanted to be a history teacher. I love the story-telling aspect of history and the best history teachers give you information about history while telling the story behind the information. I have my B.A. in Social Studies and my M.A. in Secondary Education from Northern Kentucky University.
I eventually wanted to help people become teachers so I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Studies and taught at the University of Cincinnati and at NKU for six years. I missed being in a school building and being around students, so I applied to be the principal at St. Patrick. I am so excited to be with students and help teachers in this welcoming school enviornment!
